On May 8, 1945 - known as Victory in Europe Day or VE Day - celebrations erupted around the world to mark the end of World War II in Europe.
Thursday 8th May marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day and the Club will be sharing in the celebrations with the following events on that day:
9am
Stand together as the VE Day 80 ceremonial Flag is raised at the Club
3pm to 5.30pm
Tea dance with Club favourite Emma Baldwin

6pm to 8pm
Fish and Chip Supper
Keeping the Nation fed
(Fish and Chips was one of the very few foods not rationed during the dark days of WWII)
